Remember those college days when we would raid each other's closets? I mean, 90% of my pictures (aka Zaps) were in someone's clothes besides my own. Our wardrobes were endless when we shared! I just don't do that as often these days. My friend had a fancy wedding to go to last weekend and I told her to come shop in my closet. We had so much fun dressing her up! Just like the old days! She looked fabulous and didn't have to spend a dime! Don't we all have something that someone else could get some use out of? I have some fancy stuff that doesn't get much wear at all!
So how about you? When was the last time you borrowed something from a friend? Or they borrowed from you?

Sweet Home Alabama
6) 92 ZEW I live in Music City and still think the greatest radio station ever is in Mobile.
7) My friends-Even though most of them have moved around, a few of them are still there.
8) The beach and water.
9) Fresh seafood!
So while the rolling hills, brilliantly colored leaves in the fall, wonderful friends, great education, church family, live music, great shopping have me hooked for life, I will always love Alabama!

Take it back
This was the reading in my "Jesus Calling" book for yesterday:
"You have been on a long uphill journey, and your energy is almost spent. Though you have faltered at times, you have not let go of my hand. I am pleased with your desire to stay close to Me. There is one thing, however, that displeases Me: your tendency to complain. You may talk to Me as much as you like abut the difficulty of the path we are following. I understand better than anyone else the stresses and strains that have afflicted you. You can ventilate safely to Me, because talking with Me tempers your thoughts and helps you see things from My perspective.
Complaining to others is another matter altogether. It opens the door to deadly sins such as self-pity and rage. Whenever you are tempted to grumble, come to Me and talk it out. As you open up to Me, I will put My thoughts in your mind and My song in your heart."
As I read this, I thought, "I don't complain too much." Then I remembered my last post. I guess I complain more than I think. Instead of being bummed about the rain, I should be thankful that I have boots to cover my feet and hair to put in a ponytail. Thank you Lord for all the many blessings you give me!
