is the name of the nail polish I got while on our beach vacation. I love it! It makes me feel like 'Peaches 'n Cream' Barbie, but has a touch of pink to it. Perfect summer color! Don't you think it would be such a fun job to name the nail polish for OPI? They have the neatest names.
I decided to take Hadley with me to get her toes painted too. She is such a
girly girl and loved it so much. She stood in my bubbly water the whole time I got my pedicure, and then the lady painted her toes
ElePhantastic Pink (seen below). It was such a great little mommy/daughter time. The little ladies painting toes started their Vietnamese chatter, and Hadley got this confused look on her face, and then started laughing. She looked at them and said "What you
sayin'?" They laughed too, and told her what they were talking about. I mean, after all of these years of wondering if those ladies were talking about me, and all I had to do was ask them what they were saying?!! We learn so much from our children.
OK, and on a more serious note, Tadd had a patient a few weeks ago, that got the disease,
elephantiasis (look at your own risk) from getting a pedicure. She got an infection in her foot from tools that weren't cleaned properly, and it
turned into this terrible condition. That may have been my last pedicure...and Hadley's first and last!
