In addition to Donna's scripture verses, I'dd add Phil. 4:8: "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."
Some things are not gray, but are black and white. This is one.
I know you posted this a while ago but I read the same article and have not even had any temptation to read that book. Love your post!
I started a facebook group called "I'm Not Reading 50 Shades of Grey or Watching Magic Mike". The purpose is just to be a place of support and accountability for those who don't want to "go along with their friends" but are committed to honoring God and their husbands. This can feel like a lonely place at times, thus the group was created. It is not intended to condemn those who have watched/read, just to support those who choose not too. Thanks!
