We were at my son's baseball game tonight. On the opposing team was the son of a "country music star" (who I spotted with my super star spotting vision). She was sitting in the stands across from us. One of the mom's on our team said, "Holly, she needs to hire you as her image consultant." Now, I know that most people think that is all I do all of the time...critique what everyone is wearing, but that is NOT the case. In fact, I didn't even notice what she was wearing until my friend pointed it out to me. So I decided to use this as an example to give you fashionable moms some ideas of what to wear to your kid's ball games! Our "star" tonight was wearing a navy ball cap with pigtails, a green and white striped hoodie, black yoga pants, and red converse shoes. How would I improve on that? With the same amount of clothing, you can look very put together, and not overdressed for a ball game. With the same ball cap (and a ponytail instead of pigtails), the same striped hoodie, I would switch the yoga pants for blue jeans, and switch the red converse for a pair of non-athletic sneakers (such as puma's or sketchers). If you wanted to take it a step further, you could wear a pair of khaki bermuda shorts instead of jeans, and wear a pair of colorful flats to make your outfit pop! Hope this helps you all out...even though we aren't stars, and we could dress as crappy as we wanted, and nobody would notice :)

Holly! I finally got over to the blog. You are so talented! I had no idea what you were doing. PLEASE come down to Huntsvegas and HELP ME!!! I need some love and have totally gone off the mommy deep end. Not so far as mommy jeans... but you know what I mean!! Are you like Stacy from What Not to Wear? I love her- and I already love you, so that would be perfect!
So glad to see you in the blogging world. I read your first post- it is addictive... and a tad like an underground cult! We'll be cutting wrists on Tuesdays- hope to see you there! hahaha! Love YOU!
Hill
Okay- go ahead an e-mail momma donna the name of the star. It will drive me crazy if I don't know! And- I, like Hill, have gone off the mommy deep end (not that I was EVER Ms. Fashion), but I have managed to wear sketchers and jeans around town instead of the yoga pants. I guess I'm going the right direction.
I would LOVE to come help my fellow Gamma girls! Hill, I only wish I could place myself in the same category as Stacy London! But yes, my services are much like What Not to Wear, without the humiliation on national TV. Most of my clients are moms who have "let themselves go." It doesn't have to be that way! Ciao!
HILARIOUS! You and your stars!!!
Ryan's girlfriend saw Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo at the Orlando airport when we were there last Sunday. She said JS wasn't looking too hot. Now, for me, that's hard to imagine. I guess we all have our bad days!
Get on it, Miss Fashionista!!!
I know! Tadd makes fun of me because I can spot 'em from a mile away. It's good to hear JS was looking bad...I'm always hoping they don't all look as good as we think they do in real life and are just airbrushed. I think I could be hot too if someone airbrushed me and gave me some extensions, no?
That's what I always say when I see those big makeovers. I could be hot too! Give me millions of dollars and a makeover. I could make "me" work! :) I could really make "me" work with some airbrushing!!!
You are truly TOO MUCH, my sister! I love you and I think you are a trip! I'm with Donna and want the inside scoop who the star was! ; ) LOVE YOU!
